For more than 20 years, TMF Health Quality Institute has offered educational activities designed to meet the varied needs of the health care community. TMF has maintained a continuing education program with highly qualified, articulate personnel to teach quality improvement strategies, health care quality improvement techniques, utilization management, coding and review practices. TMF’s goal is to provide superior continuing nursing and medical education on current health care issues and trends.
Continuing nursing and medical education (CNE and CME) programs were designed to promote, develop and encourage education for nurses and physicians. The restructuring of the health care environment is increasing the focus on and responsibilities of the professional nurse and health care employees that will directly affect the quality of health care. These changes necessitate continuing education to address professional growth and development.
