Since 1993, under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Health Care Quality Improvement Program (HCQIP), TMF efforts have been directed toward working with health-care providers to improve the quality of health care provided to Medicare beneficiaries in Texas. To accomplish this, TMF works with health-care providers to encourage a collaborative and shared learning approach to health care quality improvement.
