Austin, TX – June 2, 2015 – TMF Health Quality Institute, a leading nonprofit health care consulting company, held its annual membership meeting earlier this spring and elected Gary Floyd, MD, as a new board member.

Dr. Floyd is a pediatrician with the John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Floyd is a delegate to the Texas Medical Association and a member of the board of directors for the Tarrant County Medical Society.

“Dr Floyd's clinical and hospital administrative experience make him an excellent choice for our board,” said David C. Fleeger, MD, TMF Health Quality Institute Board of Trustees Chair.

In addition, two other new members were elected to the board: J. Niles Barnes, Pharm.D., of Austin and Susan Pike, MD, of Georgetown.
